LES MISÉRABLES

LES MISÉRABLES Review

LES MISÉRABLES Review:

*Due to an alternating cast we are not mentioning any actors in the performance we saw.*

LES MISÉRABLES is the world’s longest running musical in the world. Jean Valjean is a convict on parole who runs away from Inspector Javert on a journey through the French Revolution. This highly acclaimed musical has amazing scenery and songs for all theatre fans to enjoy. We thought that the best songs were “One Day More” and “Bring Him Home” which bought a tear to everyone’s eye.

We thought that all the performers were at their best, excelling in their acting and vocal skills, we could not fault anything because the show was brilliant so many congratulations to the cast. Although the cast alternates, other sources have informed us that the quality of the performance does not change even if the cast is different. The props and costumes, as well as the scenery, was the highlight of the show as it created an atmosphere that has never been made before to make you feel like you’re part of the revolution, fighting for what you believe in.

With elements of comedy from The Thénardiers, sorrow, tragedy and the happiness of love there is something for everyone to enjoy and engross themselves into. So if you’re looking for a good show, this is the one. Its home is at the Queen’s Theatre, a truly spectacular venue.
